Cops are investigating two murder cases in Mshongoville, Mogale City, after a man who allegedly stabbed his girlfriend with a sharp object was beaten by residents. The two were rushed to Leratong Hospital in the same ambulance but later died of their injuries. Sergeant Tshepiso Mashale told Daily Sun the drama started when the two got into an argument inside their shack in Mshongoville.
When news of the fight spread, furious residents hunted the man down. Mashale said they attacked the man. Residents told the SunTeam they don’t allow men to abuse women, men must know women are not their property. They said the women from the area decided to teach men who abused their partners a lesson, so they’d know women should be respected, loved and treated well.
Indeed women and children abuse is not a good thing but the residents must not take law onto their own hands as they are also committing crime. Residents must report certain matters to the police so that legal actions may be taken.

I think they have done a great thing, we are sick and tired of this woman abuse. We need to get together and fight this.I know taking law to your hands is not good but polices takes a lot of time to bring justice for woman.
ReplyDeletethe residence did a good job...
ReplyDeleteThey did a good job, women abuse can no longer be tolerated in this country. Women are the most pretty living thing we have so as men we should appreciate that.
ReplyDeleteThe reason we tend to take law into our hand is because police take their time to arrive to the scene. I do not blame the community at all
ReplyDeleteReport to whom? Police who later on release these criminals. If only South African justice was ethical maybe society would not take the law into their own hands.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is that justice is never served specially in our communities, a man is taken to the police station today for murder but tomorrow you will see him walking among us as if he did nothing wrong and you will never hear from police officers again. So it is really heart breaking and unfair.
ReplyDeleteI wish this can be accepted even in the books of legislation of the country.
